Cherry Bounce Cocktails

The Great American Cocktail

(George Washington's Favorite)
2 oz Cherry Bounce
Ginger Ale
Wedge of lime
  • Pour in a glass over ice
  • Garnish with a lime wedge

Cherry Royale

1.5 oz Cherry Bounce
Champagne or Prosecco
  • Pour Cherry Bounce into a champagne flute
  • Top with Champagne or Prosecco

Cherry Bounce Old fashioned

2 oz Cherry Bounce
3 dashes Angostura Few dashes plain water
cocktail cherry
  • Place bitters in a glass, add a dash of plain water. Swirl until dissolved.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes and add Bourbon Ratafia.
  • Garnish with orange slice, and a cocktail cherry.
  • Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

Honey Pear Cocktails

Pear and Ginger

2 oz Honey Pear Ratafia wedge of lemon
your preferred Ginger Ale
  • Pour in a glass over ice
  • Garnish with a lemon wedge

Champagne or Prosecco
  • Pour Honey Pear Ratafia into a champagne flute

Tall Honey Pear Bourbon Ratafia

2 oz Honey Pear Ratafia
2 oz club soda or seltzer lemon or lime
  • Pour the Bourbon Ratafia over ice
  • top with club soda to the size of your preference.

Hazelnut Honey Cocktails

Mama's Cookbook

1 tsp. Blackberry Sage Shrub
3/4oz Sweet Vermouth
3/4oz Hazelnut Honey Ratafia
1 1/2oz Añejo Tequila
  • Stir down and Garnish with a spritz of Fernet-Branca

Chocolate Hazelnut Shots

2 oz Hazelnut Honey Ratafia
milk of choice
chocolate syrup
(darker the better)
  • Mix your milk of choice with chocolate syrup to create a frothy, chocolate milk
  • Pour 1 1/2 oz of the chocolate milk into a large shot glass and float the Hazelnut Honey Bourbon Ratafia
  • Also great doubled, shaken in a martini glass, shaved chocolate garnish

2 oz Hazelnut Honey Ratafia
Your Tea of choice
  • Add to tea, hot or cold for a treat.

Walnut Maple Cocktails

Cranberry Maple with Walnuts

2 oz Walnut Maple Ratafia
3 oz cranberry juice
juice from half a lemon
2 oz club soda
  • Pour the Walnut Maple Ratafia, lemon, and cranberry juice over ice and shake.
  • Strain over a prepared rocks glass and top with a splash of club soda.

Walnut Maple Sour

2 oz Walnut Maple Ratafia Juice of half a Lemon
splash of Seltzer or Ginger Ale
  • Pour in a glass over ice
  • Garnish with lemon peel or a cocktail cherry.

Almost Heaven Coffee

2 oz Walnut Maple Ratafia Fresh Brewed Coffee
half & half (or cream), and sugar to taste
  • Add to fresh coffee, hot or cold
  • For a treat, add cream
  • Served: Hot or poured over ice

Winter Hare Cocktails

Winter hare Old fashioned

2 oz Winter Hare Bourbon
3 dashes Angostura bitters
One teaspoon of raw (turbinado sugar)
Few dashes plain water orange slice
cocktail cherry
  • Place bitters in a glass
  • Add a dash of plain water and sugar
  • Swirl until dissolved.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes and add the Winter Hare Single Barrel Bourbon
  • Garnish with an orange slice, and a cocktail cherry.

Mountain State Sour

(Great with either Hazelnut or Walnut)
Ingredients:
2 oz Bourbon Ratafia, Juice of half a Lemon (or 1 1/2 oz sour mix),splash of Ginger Ale
Preparation:
Pour in a glass over ice. Can garnish with lemon peel or a cocktail cherry.
Served: On the rocks; poured over ice(Walnut Maple or Hazelnut Honey Sour)

Mountain State Cider

(Great with either Hazelnut or Walnut)
Ingredients: Apple Cider (Hard or soft, sweet or dry), Bourbon Ratafia, 2 oz
Preparation: Pour Bourbon Ratafia over ice in a highball, fill with cider.
Served: Straight up; without ice

Mountaineer Coffee

(Great with Walnut Maple too)
Ingredients: 2 oz Hazelnut Honey Bourbon Ratafia, Fresh Brewed Coffee
Preparation: Add to fresh coffee, hot or cold for a treat, add cream (Kahlua and/or Irish Cream) as desired.

Mountain State Old Fashioned

Ingredients: 2 oz Bourbon Ratafia, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, Few dashes plain water, cocktail cherry
Preparation: Place bitters in a glass, add a dash of plain water. Swirl until dissolved. Fill the glass with ice cubes and add Bourbon Ratafia. Garnish with orange slice, and a cocktail cherry.
Served: On the rocks; poured over ice

White Mountaineer

Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz Walnut Maple Bourbon Ratafia, 1 oz Kahlua, 1 oz Bailey’sIrish Cream, 1/2 oz half & half (or cream)
Preparation: Pour Kahlua and Bourbon Ratafia into an Old Fashioned glass filled with ice. Add Bailey’s and float fresh cream on top and stir slowly.
Served: Straight up; with or without ice

Ingredients: 2 oz Hazelnut Honey Bourbon Ratafia, TeaPreparation: Add to tea, hot or cold for a treat.

Mountaineer Hot Chocolate

(Great with Walnut Maple too)
Ingredients: 2 oz Hazelnut Honey Bourbon Ratafia, 6 oz Hot Chocolate
Preparation: Add to a mug of hot chocolate for a serious treat. (add Irish Cream for additional creaminess)
